Our RENNDIENST (translates from German to “Racing Service”) transporter was created with a specific goal. To function as a brand ambassador without taking the role too seriously. Known to his close friends as “Verne” he has traveled the country creating smiles and generating conversation. Verne is absolutely not the 1970 VW T2 van he appears to be. Based on a 1981 Mitsubishi MiniCab 55 Kei van, he was transformed into a 3/4 version of the famous transporters utilized by the Porsche factory.
